19-Some Darn Good Ideas For Food!

FOOD
Midnight Pizza Party – Something to motivate people to stay!
Coffee Bar – Provide “designer” coffee for a small donation! (thanks to Squire5 for that idea!)
Breakfast in Bed - whichever team has the most participants walking throughout the night will receive a pancake breakfast served by the committee in their tent the next morning.
Fancy Pankcake Breakfast - get a local restaurant or civic group to come out and make pancakes in the morning, for a small Relay donation if you are really bold!
Get Meals Donated by A Local Business – Person after Person writes in about getting meals donated by local businesses… Some mentioned that you might have in your area too are:
For Dinner
“For the past few years our Relay committee has lined up vendors for the afternoon and evening hours and they give a percentage of their proceeds to RFL. It's basically a pizza place, sub place and soup and sandwich stand. We also have several teams that sell various foods. Taco in a Bag is a big hit. Some sell root beer floats and also homemade cookies, bars, etc. (thanks to Luv2Relay)
Carraba’s
Pizza Hut (thanks to VonClimax)
Domino’s
Olive Garden
For Breakfast
Bagel places (including Bruegger’s, Sam’s)
Donuts (Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts)
Get a local business to donate a pancake or waffle breakfast
Get the Boy or/and Girl Scouts to make the pancake breakfast!!!! (Thanks VonClimax)
Coffee and Tea to keep your teams up all night and FOR MOVIES!!!!
Starbucks
Your local coffee house
Local Bakery to bring cookies or pastries for the movie! (thanks VonClimax)
For Every Meal
Your High School or College or University food stands (they love to do it, and can even raise a little money to split with your Relay by being open!)
Your Local Diner
“HOPE Floats!” Ice Cream Floats – “…I was thinking it might be fun to sell "HOPE Floats" - which would be grape soda and vanilla ice cream - I'm not sure that's everyone's favorite like root beer - but it's a catchy theme (like the movie with Susan Bullock) and purple being the RFL color ........ (thanks to Luv2Relay!)

In the morning we usually have rolls, bagels, muffins, juice and coffee - also donated by local restaurants.
Easy Use Packaging – Serve your food easy to eat – particularly snacks for the night – for example, make the candy not individually wrapped given that your walkers will be walking in the dark around a track (thanks to Tao!)
